This blend consists of 50% Petite Sirah and 50% Zinfandel, aged for 30 months in 50% new Scandinavian oak barrels. Graveyard Vineyards is the first winery in the U.S. to use new Scandinavian oak barrels for wine!
It is a rich and full-bodied wine that opens with layers of blackberry, black plum, and ripe black cherry. The flavor profile includes notes of sweet oak, vanilla, and baking spices, while a hint of cocoa adds depth. On the palate, the wine is bold and plush, featuring smooth tannins and a lingering finish of dark fruit.
